Background
Since I picked up a trumpet at the age of 6, music has been a major part of my life. Mainly classically trained, I reached grade 8 on the trumpet, and grade 6 on the piano. I'm now a high-level amateur freelance orchestral trumpet player in my area. I thoroughly enjoyed my A-Level Music course (for which I got an A), which lead on to a 3-year music scholarship at University while I did my Computer Science degree.
If I had to describe my composing style, it'd be "Cinematic instrumental, with modern synth elements". I try to avoid the term "Epic Music", because those pieces that are described as such often sound rather formulaic and clichéd to me!
